Yesterday night I watched Samantha Cristoforetti depart for her 6 moths permanence in space on the ISS. It’s been an exiting view.

Samantha is the first Italian woman astronaut but she is also an ham operator and her call is IZ0UDF.

Great job Sam and hope to hear you “on space”.
