QRSS Beacon Update And New WSPR App Out Soon!

Hi everyone,

after the release of the latest update of the KX3 Companion, I immediately started working on updating the QRSS Beacon app and developing the WSPR Beacon one.

Everything is based on the new audio procedure that has been suggested by Oscar DJ0MY (the creator of the NanoKeyer)… as always a great source of good ideas and suggestions ๐Ÿ˜‰

I working hard on making them both available before the end of this week but much depends on the day job. I’ll do my best.

Today I’ll also get the Yeasu 817 of my friend Francesco IZ4XAI to finish working on the 817 Companionย app. I think that it should be ready for the beginning of December.

I’m pretty exited about the new releases. Firstly because they are in my to do list for such a long time now and secondly because a lot of people asked for them! ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s all for today.

As usual I’ll keep you updated about the development and I’m open to suggestions about features that you’d like to see.

  1. Hi Andrea! Long time no speak, I hope you are well? Are you thinking about doing anything for iOS in the future? Cheers – Josh

    • Sure!
The QRSS and WSPR apps should be easy to port while the KX3 Companion and KeyApp needs some more work to have the BLE based wireless serial

I’m fine ๐Ÿ™‚ And you? How’s the Raspi tiny panadapter working?

I’m testing the new Android L for stereo Audio in via USB card and also hope to have a fully working panadapter app by the end of the year.

      Keep in touch!
