Hi everyone.
thanks to the coding tips of my friend Oscar DJ0MY, I’ve found a way to get around the limitation of the audio library for generating QRSS and WSPR messages.
That means that I should be able in quite a short time (let’s say before the end of this week) to release an updated version of the QRSS Beacon app with a center frequency around 1500 that could range from 1000 to 2000.
But most important, this workaround also lets me easily implement the audio section of the WPRS Beacon and (maybe) of the QRSS+WPRS (Ultimate?) Beacon app. Before you ask… those two are still on development and are not yet available.
Unfortunately I’m still very busy with my day job and so it’ll be for the next 2 or 3 weeks so it won’t be possible for me to work on all those things “full time” and have them released soon. But after that period I should have enough time to work on them so I’m confident that by the end of September many of the things I have in development (KX3 Companion upgrade included!) will be issued.
So, thanks again to Oscar for pouting me in the right direction 😉
Just in case you don’t know him… he’s the guy behind the nanoKeyer (http://nanokeyer.wordpress.com) a professional contest keying solution that is well known and appreciated among CW operators.
