Hi everyone,

I just wanted to inform you that I just uploaded the new update of the KX3 Companion app and is available on the Google Store.

Here’s what’s new on this version:

– SWR Meter: you can sweep a frequency range and the app shows you a chart with SWR values. You can select from 3 to 13 steps, each of a size ranging from 5 to 500 kHz each. Maximum steps number depend on the screen size and orientation. On phones and low resolution tablets you can use up to 7 steps, on HD tablets up to 13.

– Keyboard shortcuts when using physical keyboards via USB or Bluetooth. This way “data entry” is much faster and you can almost use the whole app without touching the display. See online manual for keyboard mapping (https://kx3companion.com/manual)

– Added Sent/Received RST and Sent/Received Serial (only on HD tablets). Sent Serial automatically increments after a QSO is logged
ADIF file support (includes RRST/SRST/RSer/SSer if data in them)
Bug fixes

If you get errors after the update, please uninstall and reinstall the app (or clear data in the application preferences).

As you know I’m working on more features that didn’t had the time to finish for this update. Unfortunately this is app is not my full time job 😀
